  1. Residence, curate and lecturer: Zeale Monachorum May 10, 1779
    My Lord,
    I reside personally sometimes on my Cure here, but the greatest Part of the Year, upon my other Cure at Oakford. I have a Curate resident in my Parsonage House, who is duly licenced, with a Salary of thirty seven pounds & eighteen Shillings a Year & the Surplice Fees. I have no Lecturer.

  2. Other benefices: I have another Benefice, that of Oakford in your Lordship's Diocese.

  3. Divine service at other churches: I do not perform Divine Service at any other Church besides my own.

  4. Frequency of divine service: Divine Service is performed in my Church twice on on [sic] every Lords Day with a Sermon both in the Forenoon & in the Afternoon.

  5. Frequency of communion: The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is administered four times a Year. The Number of Communicants about fifty.

  6. Catechising of children: The Youth of my Parish are catechised in the Summer Months.

  7. Church fabric: My Church & Chancel are in good Repair & my Church yard well kept. I have all Things decent for Divine Service.

  8. Glebe terrier: I have a Terrier of the Glebe Lands, Houses, &c according to the Tenor of the 87th Canon.

  9. Number of families: There are about ninety Families in my Parish.

  10. Chapels: I have no Chapel within my Parish.

  11. Papists, dissenters and meeting houses: There are no reputed Papists in my Parish, nor any Meeting Houses for Dissenting Congregations.

  12. School, alms-houses, hospital and charitable endowments: Here is a publick School supported by Contributions and about four pounds a year given by the late Mr Hole, for instructing Children in Reading Writing & Arithmetic. No Alms House, Hospital or other Charitable Endowment. No Parochial Library.

  13. Charity: Here is a Benefaction left by the above Mr. Hole for the Cloathing of twelve poor People annually; & duly applied.

    Priest's orders and institution: My Priest's Orders bear Date December 21st 1742
    My Institution ... July 17th 1752.

    A Letter, by the General Post, directed to me at Oakford near Tiverton will come to the Hands of
    My Lord, Your Lordship's most dutifull & obedient humble Servant.
